This policy explains what personal data DealGrade collects, why, and the rights you have over it. It is written to align with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We collect only what we need to run the service and reply to you, and we never sell your personal data.
Arched Trading Ltd, trading as DealGrade and registered in England and Wales under company number 1378933 (VAT number GB3215558), is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or to exercise a right, contact privacy@dealgrade.com and we will respond.
We collect: account details you give us (name, email, password hash, and optional profile fields such as company, phone, and location); the deal inputs and assumptions you enter; the DG Scores, analyses, reports, and saved searches you generate; billing records held by our payment processor; and any support messages you send. Deal outputs also draw on public and licensed property data about areas and addresses — see the Data sources page.
We rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide scoring, accounts, and reports); our legitimate interests (to secure, support, and improve the service, and to prevent abuse); legal obligation (to keep billing and tax records); and consent where it applies (for example, optional marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time in your settings).
We use data to produce and explain scores, manage your account, take payment, provide support, keep the service secure, and improve accuracy. We do not use your deal inputs to make decisions about other users.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy decisions or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to keep your data protected to UK standards.
We keep account and deal data for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account we anonymise your saved deals and reports and remove personal identifiers, keeping only what we must for legal, tax, and billing purposes, and for a limited period to resolve disputes. Billing records are kept for the period UK tax law requires.
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our use of your data, and to receive a portable copy, where the law allows. You can manage much of this in your account settings, or email privacy@dealgrade.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
We may update this policy as the service changes. When we make a material change we will update the date below and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
This policy is effective from 14 July 2026.
